À propos de l'auteur

The Honourable Madam Justice Janice R. Dillon was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 1995 and is a long serving member of the Attorney General's Rules Revision Committee. Madam Justice Dillon's experience encompasses law reform, health law and civil litigation.

Gordon Turriff, Q.C., was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1975 and retired from practice in July 2015. Mr. Turriff is Bencher-in-Residence at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. He was formerly counsel to Stikeman Elliott LLP in its Vancouver office, is a past President and now Life Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia. Since 1981 his work has been extensively concerned with lawyer-client financial relationships and costs of litigation. He was a founding member and is a former director of the British Columbia Law Institute, successor to the Law Reform Commission of British Columbia, and he is the author of the Annotated British Columbia Legal Profession Act and co-author of British Columbia Annual Practice (Canada Law Book).
